- In order to fit the needs of the client the text also undergoes a localization process by our editors who are well-versed in Pakistani and Indian cultures.

Urdu language or Urdu, is an official language of Pakistan and India. Urdu is spoken by 200 million people in the world. Philologically, it is very similar to Hindi. Some philologists argue that it emerged from Hindi, however, contrary to popular belief it is not a constructed language. It is a natural language that developed with a common language goal in an area where a lot of languages came together due to commercial relations. It is a mixture of Mongolian, Persian, Turkish, Sanskrit, Arabic and Hindi. Although it is very similar to Hindi, it uses the Arabic alphabet. Despite this, in oral communication somebody who can speak Urdu can easily understand a Hindi speaker. Although the grammatical structure is easy, writing is hard to learn because of the different combinations of letters.
Urdu is mostly spoken in Northern India, where it is densely populated by Muslims. In Pakistan, it is used as a common language along with the languages of Pashto and Punjabi. Today, as a result of the increasing amounts of worker agreements, it is often used in construction sites in the region.
In our country, it can be learned on an undergraduate level in Istanbul and Ankara Universities in the Urdu Language and Literature departments. Learning it would be a great benefit to those who want to engage in commercial relations with Pakistan or those who want to be researchers in the area of Sufism, because these classics of the Islamic world are written in Urdu.
